Hello, and welcome to UMassWiki!

We suggest you read the following pages to learn your way around the wiki:

If you're here because you're participating in a class that uses the wiki, these two pages are very important to read:

And welcome to Class:Section 71 - ENG 112 - Spring 2007! Don't forget to explore rest of the wiki as well. You're welcome to edit anything on the wiki -- not just pages for your class.

Important: Since you're going to be editing pages for your class, the following two articles are very important:

You need to understand how to make subpages so your stuff ends up in the right place. Aside from all that, if you just want a quick-start guide on things like how to make text bold or how to make line breaks between paragraphs, try this downloadable and printable Cheatsheet. Hello phane88 and welcome to the course wiki! Don't neglect to read through the information and follow the links provided above. I included the code for "Table of Contents" so you can copy it if/when you want. Also, don't forget to check out changes to the Homepage! steph (COM) 11:32, 18 February 2007 (EST)

your question about The Jacket handout is now answered on my usertalk page. steph (COM) 20:58, 23 February 2007 (EST)

[edit] most comprehensive!

of the User Pages I've read so far, anyway.  :-) There is a rather blatant typo, though. :-( You might want to fix that? First impressions, y'know, they go a looooong way! steph (COM) 15:24, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Penguin Points

Hey, I found all the work you posted to the Grammar and Mechanics page. Yeah! except :-( you did not follow the directions. I formatted the first example to show you (and others) how. When you edit, remove my comment/explanation/signature and replace just with yours. Ok? Also, please alphabetize your entries (this will involve some cutting and pasting), then other students can find the right place to insert their own. THEN you'll earn another batch of extra credit points for that activity. :-) steph (COM) 16:44, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Magazina Teama

I have responded to your team's Proposal. steph (COM) 21:36, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

[edit] who's in charge?

TALK to me! See where I'm posting messages to you....check regularly, please! steph (COM) 09:28, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

[edit] not quite!

In addition to listing the six sources you need to identify what/how they are going to help you, check out the in-class activities again and finish that up, ok? I read your summary and added some comments.

[edit] Reflection Letters

Good work chasing down Fotomaki. He'll respond when he can, and, we won't force him to include his Reflection Letter if he prefers not. He may need a few days to think it over. Can you work on other things and just be ready to plug his in when he responds? Thanks. steph (COM) 09:40, 29 April 2007 (EDT)
