Thanks to the COM352 students for contributing a bunch of new pages! I'll be moving these pages into the main area of the wiki soon.

From UMassWiki
Hello, and welcome to UMassWiki!
We suggest you read the following pages to learn your way around the wiki:
- UMassWiki:Guidelines - important!
- Help:Contents - lots of editing tips, including a 1-page printable cheat sheet
If you're here because you're participating in a class that uses the wiki, these two pages are very important to read:
And welcome to Class:Section 71 - ENG 112 - Spring 2007! Don't forget to explore rest of the wiki as well. You're welcome to edit anything on the wiki -- not just pages for your class.
Important: Since you're going to be editing pages for your class, the following two articles are very important:
You need to understand how to make subpages so your stuff ends up in the right place. Aside from all that, if you just want a quick-start guide on things like how to make text bold or how to make line breaks between paragraphs, try this downloadable and printable Cheatsheet. [edit] from Steph
Hello Kelly and welcome to the course wiki! Don't neglect to read through the information and follow the links provided above. I included the code for "Table of Contents" so you can copy it if/when you want. Also, don't forget to check out changes to the Homepage! steph (COM) 11:32, 18 February 2007 (EST)
[edit] your random message to Jessica
So, you accidentally posted on Jessica's User Page which is different than her User Talk Page. When you follow a signature, you arrive at the person's User Page, then you have to click on the tab that says "discussion" in order to get to the page for messages. No worries - you'll learn! :-) steph (COM) 11:38, 18 February 2007 (EST)
[edit] health!
Take care of you! Thanks for the update. You can bring me a hard copy of the letter to your Peer on Tuesday. Check out the homework assignment. Get well and show up ready to rock n roll! steph (COM) 00:17, 2 March 2007 (EST)
[edit] class work
Hey Ksweets! Lookie here, you gotta figure out the subheading thing. Didja notice I moved you (again) from the bottom of my long list of entries to your very own section? Your "spot" right now is ninth on the list of my Table of Contents. Not to worry, you will get the hang of it. (Won't you?!) steph (COM) 14:05, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
[edit] more?
Hi Ksweets! (How about a Table of Contents?) :-) steph (COM) 14:58, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
[edit] looking good!
Your User Page looks fine....I didn't record the credit yet, be sure you bug me about it so that I don't forget, ok? :-) steph (COM) 19:47, 4 April 2007 (EDT)
- ps, notice that I moved your posting on my user page to the same section (way up the list!) where you began. That's where I want you to post new messages to me, k? K! steph (COM) 19:48, 4 April 2007 (EDT)
