Introduction to Brian Donnelly
Brian Donnelly has a calm attitude. A freshman double majoring in communications and journalism, he came to UMass because, out of the schools he applied to, it was the cheapest option while still offering good education. He has experience directing and editing a film, and would like to do more in the future. He also has largely garnered inspiration to be a writer from the author Chuck Palahniuk. Politically he has liberal views but says he is always open to other ideas. He was raised Catholic, but is now unsure about his faith. Brian was born in Roxbury and moved to Walpole (apparently known for holding the ‘shoe bomber’ in their prison) when he was 10; now he is 19, has an older brother and sister, and finds his fancy in females. In high school he was involved with the band, and the football and lacrosse teams. He continues to play guitar, saxophone, rugby, and of course, video games. In music, his tastes favor punk, ska, indie, and classic rock; bands such as Tool, Streetlight Manifesto, Less than Jake, and TREOS (The Receiving End of Sirens). Some of his favorite movies are American Beauty, Pulp Fiction, and KAPAX. Traveling has brought him to Costa Rica, Canada, and much of the east coast.--Thebriandonnelly 21:58, 20 September 2006 (EDT)
