I want to brag about the student who may have figured out the problem for those of you whose posts STILL are not showing up on the group "grading zone" page:

I think I just figured out why many of the posts were not showing up. I think it has to do with the privacy options. I just went under options>privacy and switched my options from "block my blog from search engines" to " I would like my blog to appear in search engines" and it appeared with the rest of them.

Apparently, if you don't want anyone to find you by Google, then you also cannot "send" your page to the group "grading zone" pages. (Remember, no grades will be posted there from me, just feedback and peer reviews.) Hopefully the anonymity of your usernames will protect you enough. :-/ Steph^(talk) 21:00, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Deleting Categories

1. Go to Manage (third tab in from the left after "Dashboard" and "Write")
2. Select Categories (fourth from the left after "Posts," "Pages," and "Uploads")
3. Find the offending category and - in the far right column, called "Action" - click "Delete"
4. A pop-up menu will ask if you really want to delete the category, select "OK".
5. Now - copy and paste the text to get the Category exactly right! Be sure you match CAPS and s p a c e s and punctuation exactly. e.g., Babel for COM375 or learning: ENG112.

If this fails, copy and paste the URL to your essay as a comment onto the Class Page associated with my Wordpress blog, either A Place in Space: Section 9, Writing as Communication or Section 36, College Writing. Include a few words that tell us where the link goes...

If it is not visible on the group/category page, Babel for COM375, then look for it on the Class Page associated with my Wordpress blog, A Place in Space: Section 9, Writing as Communication.
