This topic interest me because it is taking over the world like a storm. I want to address my letter to the media because the are the ones who are usually the people who have problem keeping their weight on and live a healthy life. They make other girls want to follow in their footsteps which can lead these girls to suffer from an eating disorder/aneroxia. The six links I put up on the wiki will help me with my topic by reading about real girls stories who were anoroxic (because models look so thin and they wanted to look like models/actresses)and how they feel about themselves now after putting their life on the line for beauty.

You will definitely need to read the piece by Susan Bordo in the Text Wrestling Book, Hunger as Ideology. This can be one of your print resources.

"The media" is too broad. You will have to work hard and think seriously about a specific INDIVIDUAL or particular ORGANIZATION/BUSINESS etc that you can address DIRECTLY. (CAPS for EMPHASIS!)

Using case stories as evidence is a small part of the assignment; what about the four elements listed in the In-Class Assignment?

I have change to whom my letter is addressed to and it's to the parents of teens accross America. To make sure that son/daughter are eating right and are confident about their body.
