For my Unit 3 piece I plan to write a letter adressed to one of the many, and perhaps several fast food moguls in America. Trans fatty acid is extremely detrimental to our health when consumed. The chance of developing heart disease is greatly increased due to the intake of trans fatty acids. These are all known and accepted facts, but the shocking and disgusting part of the equation is that places we've all most likely enjoyed once or twice (McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's etc.) feature the trans fatty acids as additives rather than naturally occuring ingredients in their foods, in essence promoting bad health.
