Megan, her nick name being “Meg, ” is a freshman at Umass Amherst. She is 18 years old, and an out of state student. Meg hails from Westchester New York, a solidly middle class suburb approximately 30 minutes from the Big Apple. She excelled academically during high school, and therefore was invited into the Communications Tap, more commonly just called COMTAP. Currently, she resides in John Adams, one of the South West area towers.

Most people would describe Meg as perky, and perhaps a bit preppy as well. Her wardrobe more likely than not has at least a few clothing articles from Hollister or Aeropostale. Musically, she is pretty mainstream as well. Most likely you'd catch her listening to such chart-topping bands as Linkin Park or Fall Out Boy, on the ever trendy Ipod, of course. In high school Meg had a fair amount of friends and felt welcome sitting with the popular kids during lunch. Although she did not ever play a sport in high school, she does enjoy competitively playing soccer. While not an avid reader, she has been known to leaf through a novel if it is recommended to her by a friend.

Megan is currently in a romantic relationship of 4 years, emphasizing her interpersonal talents. Unfortunately, her boyfriend is attending a university which is far away, probably dooming the relationship. Seeing she is friendly and attractive, however, she will probably find a new boyfriend soon. That is, if they don't mind the fact that she is a highly competitive person, scoffing at those who lack ambition. Indeed, she probably would not be at home in a more laid back dorm area such as Central or Sylvan.

Politically, she is fairly undecided. You could describe her views as amoeba-like; if you were to discuss politics with her, she would probably agree with you. She is a Lutheran, but is not fanatically devout. While she may feel that abortion is wrong, she is not the type of person who will attempt to proselytize others. Her apolitical nature is interesting when her extensive travels are taken into account. Meg has toured Europe, taking a special liking towards Spain and Italy. Based upon this, she will quite likely choose to study abroad at some point during her time at Umass Amherst. Judging by her respectable high school GPA, she may very well graduate with honors.
