Marie Carbone is a freshman at the University of Massachusetts and her major is political science. She has lived in Massachusetts for all of her life, first in Greenfield and then in Deerfield. She moved from Greenfield when she was in 2nd grade and has lived in Deerfield for the past 10 years. She has an older sister named Elizabeth who is 21 years old. She is allergic to most types of pets but she does have a gecko named Buddy. Marie is a combination of Italian, Irish, and Scottish. Music is a very important part of Marie’s life and she loves to listens to every type of music. When she was younger Marie played the piano. There are several other hobbies that Marie used to participate in including swimming and water polo. She has a unique pet peeve; it bothers her when someone scrapes a fork against a plate while eating. One thing Marie enjoys doing with her free time is watching movies. She loves almost all movies and doesn’t have a favorite genre. She doesn’t have one favorite movie and has a difficult time choosing but two movies she enjoys are The Fifth Element and Fight Club.Kathleenw 15:16, 14 September 2006 (EDT)
