House Painting

Hi,

I am looking for motivated people to be house painters. All work would be during the summer, with a paid training session in May. All homes will be in Newtown save for one or two. Must have transportation. Must be comfortable with ladders. No exp. necessary. 35-40hrs. /wk. 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Rainy days may be made up on weekends. Must not have more than 5 days (Mondays-Fridays) vacation planned during May 20th-August 20th. Must be reliable, on-time. Should reside <30 minutes from Newtown.

Pay is performance based: if you complete a 100 hour job in 80 hours, you will be paid for 100 hours. Starting wage is $8.75 an hour, with raises typically given every two weeks ($.25). "Production Manager" position also available, more pay, responsibility. We have FULL worker's compensation and $2,000,000 Liability Insurance. We are fully licensed in Connecticut.

Television, movies, advertising, sports, education, and food are just a few of the aspects of culture in this country. Imagine struggling to remember a language when you already fluently speak two. It is said that you don’t know what you have until it is gone. From personal experience in Spanish class during high school, the way Spanish was taught was hardly related to how I spoke Spanish.

This is something I can highly relate to because food is something that I can sometimes relate my problems to. immigrants should instead live in small, tightly knit communities of people from similar backgrounds. She saw Indian food as a reminder of her childhood with her parents and a bond with her ethnic culture.
