- Basically, you felt that Elise's suggestions about my writing were constructive. She provided useful rephrasing of the main points in my essay and used positive reinforcement of my writing style and topic choice. At the same token, she suggested how I could reword certain sentences or sentiments in order to make it more reader friendly. You also pointed out that her suggestions in the summary were helpful so that I could weed out the unimportant parts and keep it streamlined and focused. On the negative side of the spectrum, you felt that Elise could include stronger examples to help me understand her suggestions. For example, in one place she says that she loves one image I used, but you felt she could elaborate more on this idea so that I know what to improve in my writing. Overall, you felt that Elise provided positive and constructive criticism for me to use when I write my second draft.
