[edit] Delta Delta Chapter
The Delta Delta (100th) chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, at UMass, was founded on May 16, 1969, after beginning a colony period on February 23, 1969, by University bandswomen who desired the chartering of a band service organization on the UMass campus. The director of bands at the time, John Jenkins, signed the charter for Tau Beta Sigma, and on the same day signed the charter of brother organization Epsilon Nu Kappa Kappa Psi. Tau Beta Sigma aims to provide service to bands across the UMass campus, and is most active in serving the UMMB.
