Student Run Boer Goat Group

The Student Run Boer Goat Group manages a herd of purebred and percentage Boer does and a few pure bred bucks. The group is offered as a credited and graded class through the Animal Science department, but students of all majors are welcome. The group holds an annual sale in the late summer/early fall, where kids and some older animals are often available for sale to those wishing to start a herd or feed some goats out for meat. The group's goats are shown in the Baystate Livestock Classic and at the Eastern States Exposition at the Boer Goat Show in the spring.
