Squire Village

Squire Village (otherwise known as Squillage or Transit Village) is an apartment complex serving the UMass community. It is located in Sunderland and was the highest-rated of all apartment complexes having more than 2 responders in the great apartment complex poll. Squire Village allows small pets.
Most posters in 
umass_amherst seem happy with Squire Village. It is rated as quiet, with a great maintenance staff (5 out of 5 with 13 responding). It is however not close to the UMass Amherst campus, so you will need to commute by car or PVTA.
Squire Village has electric heat which can get expensive in cold winters.
