Science Fiction Society

The UMass Science Fiction Society is one of the largest science fiction and fantasy public libraries on the east coast. We are a proud lending library with over 8,000 novels, not to mention our collections of comics and videos.
As well as being a library, we're also a community of science-fiction enthusiasts. There's always something going on in the room between classes, whether it's eating lunch, heated discussions, just hanging out, or the occasional midday nap. You can find the library in the basement of the Campus Center (left of the Collegian) in room 166. We're open from 10 AM until at least 6 PM, Monday-Friday, while classes are in session during the Fall and Spring semesters. Everyone is welcome to join us, both students and non-students. We hope to see you there!
