Pita Pit

The Pita Pit is a sandwich shop now entering its third school year at UMass. It is located downstairs in the Worcester Dining Commons. It has grown in popularity quickly, supplying the northern part of the campus with great food and snacks.
There is also pita pit at the campus store and SouthWest.
In the Spring of 2006, the Worcester Pita Pit was given the "Team of the Year" Award by the UMass Auxillary Services for its good food, good atmosphere, and great staff. The Pita Pit is a chain based in Canada which is popping up more in the United States.
