Peter Pan

Peter Pan is the primary inter-city bus carrier servicing the Amherst area. Peter Pan offers service to Boston, New York, and other major destinations. Some buses depart from the Haigis Mall (adjacent to Whitmore, the FAC and the SOM).
Peter Pan bus tickets must be purchased in advance. As of Spring 2006, Boston was $20 one-way, $38 roundtrip for students. Tickets are sold at the STA in the Campus Center and at the Hampden convenience store in Southwest.
Express buses will say Boston on the front and run on Fridays and Sundays. All the other buses to Boston have a transfer in Springfield; they'll say Springfield on the front and once it stops there, you have to get off and change to the Boston bus.
