North Pleasant Street

North Pleasant Street is the main street of the UMass Amherst campus. Although campus extends far from the street itself, it is one of the only streets that cars and PVTA buses can access, thereby making it an important artery on campus. North Pleasant also extends south of campus through the center of Amherst and north of campus through North Amherst where a number of large apartment complexes are located.
