Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is a student-supported tutoring center located on the 10th floor of the W.E.B. DuBois Library. The LRC was formerly known as Learning Support Services (LSS).

The LRC is open 1-10pm Monday-Thursday and 5-10pm Sunday during the regular school year. Check the official web site for exam schedules.

[edit] Peer tutoring

Tutoring is available for many first and second year courses on a walk-in basis, individually and in small groups. Call, stop by or check the official web site for tutoring schedules.

[edit] Supplemental instruction

Supplemental instruction sessions are regularly scheduled informal review sessions for particular courses. Session leaders are students who have previously completed the course and attend it again throughout the semester while leading the group.

[edit] Video lectures

Students may view taped lectures for certain courses, mainly in the School of Engineering, in private carrels.

[edit] Computer lab

PCs, Macs and laptop ports are available for use at the LRC.
