Knowlton was an all-female residential hall but is now a coed dorm in the Northeast residential area. Knowlton also houses the United Asian Learning Resource Center. Knowlton and Hamlin are the only one-gender dorms on campus.

Knowlton has a reputation for being a quiet dorm. It has spacious bathrooms with large showers. It is also very convenient to campus, and there is a bus stop right outside the door.
