Hampshire Mall is a shopping mall in nearby Hadley, located convenient to UMass Amherst and Amherst College. The mall is accessible by PVTA buses from the university campus. Many UMass students refer to the Hampshire Mall as the "Dirt Mall" a possible reference to Kevin Smith's movie "Mall Rats."

• There is also a "Pizza Hut Express" inside Target. This is to be avoided at all costs, especially since you can get good pizza at Arizona Pizza, marginal pizza at Sbarros. Eating from a restaurant inside of Target is the last act of a desperate man.
