Good planning!
I like the plan so far. When shall we meet in person for the first time? steph (COM) 20:09, 4 April 2007 (EDT)
copy of last semester's magazine
Yo.
In case you want it faster, I put a copy in an envelope for the "magazine team" and left it in my mailbox in MACHMER. Yes, the mailboxes on the 4th floor, where the Communication Department mailboxes are located. It's a weird building if you're not familiar with it ask for help. The mailboxes are larger so I didn't have to scrunch it up like I would if I put it in the English Department mailbox. So - it is in MY mailbox with YOUR name on it. :-)
Please note, there are errors and mistakes in it that I do not want to repeat. Much room for improvement. Be kind, but also imagine how you can do better. steph (COM) 09:26, 7 April 2007 (EDT)
TOC
Hey - I found the list of recommendations for the First Reflection Letters and it did not match the list Jessica had. ? I put my list on the TOC. Now, I'm wondering which list you had? Was it for something else? You had Annerrs, Tom, David, Mariya, Adam, and I added (maybe) Paul. steph (COM) 10:35, 28 April 2007 (EDT)
The Plan
According to our meeting yesterday, The IceCream Man is going to do all the artwork, figure the Table of Contents (page numbering etc) and complete textual layout, right? Jessica and Phane88 are collecting the submissions, organizing them in sequence, and editing, correct?
All of you will look at representative quotes to pull from each submission for the TOC? Of course, you will all be in regular touch with each other (and me!) about progress, striving for the best design possible, yes? :-)
Decisions need to be made regarding the remaining submissions (Second Reflection Letters, Adding to a Conversation, and maybe This I Believe or Adding to one of Our Conversations). Will you use my piece? (Maybe at the end?)
Who will write the Intro blurbs for each Unit?

Title?
I will follow up with Office2Office, the University's on-campus print shop concerning:
- their turn-around time
- if we can use color inside (section breaks) in addition to on the cover
Anything else? :-)
Great work. I know we have much to do in a short time; recall this is in lieu of the fourth paper, and then you'll be nearly done! steph (COM) 10:51, 28 April 2007 (EDT)
Last Day of Class
is May 15, see the academic calendar. So, we do have a bit more time. :-) We will still meet next Monday evening (May 7) as planned. steph (COM) 11:05, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

Printing Specifications
No color inside, I hope that message got to The IceCream Man?
We will talk tonight about the formatting specs, do you know how to do this in a pdf? If not, doing it all in Word is fine.
See you soon! steph (COM) 12:20, 7 May 2007 (EDT)
