"I woke up this morning feeling a little overwhelmed; all over the 20′th floor of Kennedy where I live, there were posters posted saying “All morning classes are canceled due to an explosive device found in Herter Hall.” I don’t yet know the result of this except for the fact that we were able to go to classes starting at 11:00 am. At 11:00, I went to work at the Student Union Billiards room. My boss was running late because of traffic because nobody was permitted on campus until 11:00, when the explosive device situation was figured out. So I waited about 40 minutes, sitting on the floor outside of the billiards room for him to unlock the doors. Talk about annoying." My Day in a Sentence ~ yepp0628

"My day has been uneventful thus far. Apparently, this morning held an entirely odd and somewhat scary event in one of the academic buildings on campus as there was a bomb scare. Some whack job decided to call in a bomb threat. Campus police dealt with the threat accordingly and the responsiveness of the police makes me feel a whole lot safer. By the by, this all happened ridiculously early in the morning so I completely missed out on the early morning emails and learned about this event after the fact as I WAS SLEEPING! "Today, I feel miserable even though I got extra sleep from the bomb threat. I have been stressing out about this paper on art objects, I really do not know how to fix it. I summarized too much and I haven’t been able to work on the paper because I just had a biology exam last night which I think I did poorly on. I’m still tired even though I got to sleep in a little longer, instead of waking up at seven I got to sleep until eleven. Also I got my grade back on my introduction paper, and I’m unsatisfied." "I feel like shit. I have not slept for the past two days in order to prepare for midterms. I was up till three o’clock this morning studying for my psychology exam. Then I got woken up at seven this morning to my mothers anxious voice asking if I was alright. Apparently a “suspicious package” was found on campus, thus forcing the bomb-squad to show up. The campus was closed off till eleven o’clock and I had my exam at eleven fifteen. "I awoke, reveling in the fact that my TA cancelled my 8AM Muisic Lit. discussion—then I heard that there was a bomb threat and class was cancelled until 11. Great, until I realized that I had a piano test at 2:15 and I needed my 10:10 practice room time to ensure that I wouldn’t fail. Of course, that never happened. I missed the test! "So far my day isn’t going good at all. It is one of the worst days I’ve had this week. I was woken up at 8:30 this morning by my RA because apparently there was a bomb threat on campus. Then, I was late to class and didn’t even get to do my hair! In class I got a grade back from the personal essay I wrote on a peer. I did my best on this paper and was very proud of it.
