Antonio's Pizza
From UMassWiki
Antonio's Pizza is a well-known fixture in downtown Amherst Massachusetts. Antonio's is open late and serves pizza by the slice, although whole pies are also available. Antonio's does not deliver, though employees claim that their pizza is so popular that they do a lot of business through Delivery Express. So if you're craving Antonio's and can't get there for take-out, that's your option.

[edit] The Pizza
The huge variety of topping combinations is one of Antonio's main features. It mimics some of the best New York pizza experiences, and during the school year it's always crowded as a result.
The awesome flavor of the "Chicken and Bleu Cheese" slice -- which consists of a creme fraiche sauce, buffalo chicken, mozzarella, and red bell pepper garnish -- demanded a new way to measure the consumer's palatable pleasure. A system know as the "Orgasm-Bite" ratio was put in place by former UMass students, Joel Southall and Patrick Nihan. "Chicken and Blue Cheese" is rated at 3:1, which expresses three orgasms to one bite of pizza.

[edit] Insider Guide to Antonio's
There is an etiquette to ordering pizza at Antonio's and it would do the novice well to adhere to the following guidelines: Read the specials before entering the establishment. They are written on a dry-erase board in the window. File to the right down the wall along the pizzas. Note what is on display. When "next" is called, greet the pizza slinger with a smile and a greeting as well as how you'd like your slices. For example, "Two, for here," or perhaps, "Four, to go, no heat." Order efficiently, asking if a particular slice is available, and please assess your own preferences before beginning the ordering process as there may be eager Antonio's devotees (just like yourself!) waiting to order. When you've communicated your preferences to the slice slinger, proceed to the left to the cashier, pay, and leave a tip. If you keep these guidelines in mind, you and your fellow Antonio's devotees will have a pleasant Antonio's experience.
