Preparation:  In addition to all the concrete proposals (what vertebralsilence described as the craving for infrastructure), there linger some questions about audience.  It occurs to me that what might help us more than deciding a ''who'', is to try and define a ''what do we want them to get'' from this collectively-generated site?
